The P90 Soapbar Set

These soapbars are designed to give the P90 user more bang for the buck. They're constructed having more output than stock OEM P90's, while still retaining their single coil properties and growl when pushed to the limit.
Each pickup is designed to compliment each other when used together as a set. The Bridge pickup is constructed using vintage enameled magnetic wire and either utilizes Alnico grade 2 bar magnets for a slightly warmer tone or Alnico 5 magnets for that "in your face" louder punch (please specify when ordering) which are sandwiched between a plated baseplate and the bobbin.
Having around a 9.6K ohm output value makes these pickups a strong contender in the P90 class. The Neck pickup, approx 8.6K ohms, is similar to the Bridge with the exception of having a Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity construction that offers hum-canceling properties when selected to the (both on) middle position.
These come equipped with either black or cream colored plastic covers (please specify when ordering).
Most Amalfitano Pickup P-90 sets are assembled using vintage braided wire leads and are lightly wax potted to reduce the chance of microphonics.
